The joy of lighting a Hanukkah candle is brightest when you see it reflected in a child’s eyes. Give a gift from the heart and help WIZO give our children and youth a chance of a better life. No amount is too small and every little bit counts.
Funds from the Hanukkah Dinnerless Campaign will go towards The Nachlat Yehuda School & Youth Village
Founded in 1922 and located in Rishon LeZion, Nachla Yehuda is an agricultural high school and home to mostly native Israelis and children from immigrant families. Today, nearly 100 years later, it serves as a safety net for hundreds of young adults coming from homes where there are severe social and economic challenges including physical abuse and neglect. The majority of students suffer from academic delays, learning disabilities, attention disorders and social challenges.
Despite these obstacles, WIZO Nachlat Yehuda Youth Village has set a goal to enable all students to reach their full academic, emotional, physical and social potential, providing them with all the resources and skills to become the next generation of socially active leaders in school, the IDF, work and Israeli society.
Over the course of the years, Nachlat Yehuda has become one of WIZO's leading educational institutions in Israel and YOU can help WIZO assure it stays that way. We need YOUR help!
