WIZO Florida

Dinnerless Hanukkah Celebration

The joy of lighting a Hanukkah candle is brightest when you see it reflected in a child’s eyes. Give a gift from the heart and help WIZO give our children and youth a chance of a better life. No amount is too small and every little bit counts.

Funds from the Chanukah Dinnerless Campaign will go towards The Fire & Emergency Cadet Program.

Designed for youth from troubled backgrounds who are struggling with serious learning challenges and low self-esteem, the program combines theoretical classroom studies with practical and emergency rescue training for boys and girls at the local fire department, and includes additional academic tutoring. Youth in grades 10th through 12th who enroll in this program, are all USA supported boarding students at WIZO Nachlat Yehuda School & Youth Village. The training certificate they acquire will provide these young adults with meaningful opportunities during their IDF service, as well as the necessary skills to work as trained professionals in the emergency services field, should they wish to pursue it as a career.
