In the most formative years of their development and personality, children receive education, enrichment and treatment in hundreds of WIZO day care centers. The center's director, social worker and psychologist team up with art and music therapists and educational counselors to offer a comprehensive individual treatment program for high-risk children. WIZO provides a solution for children with parents who work late and would otherwise be left unsupervised, through its multi-purpose day care centers, which run into the evening hours. During their stay at these centers, children receive hot meals and homework assistance. First Step donors help WIZO provide the nurturing framework so crucial to children's development.
