Please welcome WIZO’s NEW Community Relations Department
Dear WIZO Members:
It is with great pleasure that WIZO Florida announces the start of a new department, “Community Relations”. The department’s goals are to give back to the community in which we all live and enrich the lives of those less privileged.
The WIZO Community Relations Department will launch its first campaign in efforts to support the “Children's Home Society of Florida”, Southeastern Division, “Back to school Drive.”
We know that you are currently acquiring the materials and supplies for this upcoming school year and the Children's Home Society of Florida is in need of school supplies for children in Pre-K through college. They would greatly appreciate any new materials or supplies you are able to donate. Pencil cases($ .70 at TARGET), coloring crayons, Composition Books and Duo Tax two pockets folders etc. are particularly in need.
The materials will be collected on the following days: AUGUST 18th, AUGUST 19th and AUGUST 20th 2010 at the WIZO Office - 1150 Kane Concourse - 5th floor (hours: 9 am to 5 pm) and at Belinda Konig’s home (305) 798-5551 2341 NE 211 Street North Miami Beach 33180 (if nobody is home you can live it at the door).
This is a beautiful gift to children in our community and even a small contribution can vastly improve a child’s educational experience.
