Founded over twenty years ago, Ilanit-Tikva is the result of the combination of two WIZO Chapters formed by married women in their 30s from the Aventura area. Under the current leadership of Rosalie Dombey, Ilanit-Tikva is an established force within WIZO, organizing very succesful events and attracting a large number of members. Their most notorious coup is the exquisite Community Bat Mitzvah - performed yearly. For details, please read Chapter News. Ilanit Tikva's events include fashion shows featuring their own children, seminars, bowling nights and barbeques. Its members meet twice a month and plan every detail of their new projects with diligence and enthusiasm.
